Sometimes you can’t easily attract attention with just some bits of info regarding your business and your products. At such, you might want to change the default settings on your Facebook fan page. This is so your Facebook fan page visitors will see something more entertaining and will be easily swayed to join your page.

Frequently, businesses and organizations will leave their “info” or “wall” pages as the default arrival page. However, one recent trend is to make a “splash” page as your default page.

Splash pages are basically initial pages wherein info about the website (in this case, your Facebook fan page) is included. Splash pages may include a lot of things like

  • Coupons
  • News
  • Sales information
  • Product inventory information
  • Upcoming events
  • Awards, if any

Creating splash pages is beneficial if you want to easily attract fans. After all, who can resist a page that offers not only great information but discounts to products they are longing to have? Try creating splash pages for your Facebook fan page today, and start seeing the difference.
