Web 2.0 Marketing Tip #59: Update Customers with a Facebook Fan Page

Another great benefit of having a Facebook fan page is that you can easily send out information to your colleagues and customer. If you already followed my earlier tip of reaching out to your subscribers with an autoresponder course and getting them to become your fan on Facebook, then you should now have a broad base of fans to reach out to.

There are a lot of ways through which you can send updates with your Facebook fan page. Some of them are:

  • Post on your fan page wall.
  • Start a discussion.
  • Upload a photo and caption.
  • Upload a video.
  • Post a link to your blog or website.

What kind of updates or information can you give to your customers and colleagues? Well, you can talk about different aspects of your business such as dates of sales, coupons, and upcoming product launch information. You can even use your Facebook fan page to collect feedbacks and suggestions from your customers. This way, you are not only giving updates but getting ideas for further developing your business.
