Web 2.0 Marketing Tip #33: Quickie Posts with Tumblr

By Ralf Skirr.

When it comes to Web 2.0 marketing, it is essential to learn about and use different social sites, specifically networks like Facebook and Twitter. Are you using both these networks for your campaign?

It can be very beneficial to market on different social networks. However, it can also be tiring–logging in and out and continuously posting updates on different accounts every time. If you feel like this routine is starting to weigh you down, then you might want to start using Tumblr.

Working on various social networks can be really tiring. If you are already feeling the weight, it may be a good idea to consolidate your workload. This way, you will not need to spend a large chunk of your time repeating the same tasks. One medium you can use to consolidate your workload is to start a Tumblr account.

By creating a Tumblr, you can easily post an update to all of your accounts at once. This means you can tweet, post a Facebook status update, and post to any of your other social networking accounts at the same time.

So, Tumblr saves time. I didn’t know this. I’ll have to put it through the test. Thanks for sharing.
