One great way to utilize Twitter to get more sales is to use the Twitter search engine to find tweets related to your business’s niche. This is an easy way to locate people who might be interested in your products or services.
This strategy involves a simple process:
- Determine keywords related to your business
- Use the Twitter search engine to locate tweets that include your chosen keywords
- Follow the tweets back to the source
- Determine whether the person involved might be interested in your niche
- If yes, invite him to follow you
Initially, a lot of people you add may not follow you back. Nevertheless, if you persist, over time, you will find it relatively easy to accumulate 50 new followers each day; when this happens, you’ll gain momentum. Of course, you must not only think about getting new followers. You must also strive to create interesting tweets, come up with offer coupons, or provide vital information. If you do, you will find that most of your messages will get re-tweeted, expanding your reach and possibly bringing in new followers without you exerting extra effort.
