Web 2.0 Marketing Tip #69: Twitter as a Quick Website Updating Tool
By Ralf Skirr.
Twitter only lets you submit 140 character updates or “tweets.” Nevertheless, we can’t deny the fact that Twitter is the best and fastest way for us to update customers, colleagues, suppliers, etc.
If you have not done it yet, then you are getting left out. It is best to start using Twitter to promote recent updates about your website. You can give links to articles or reviews you have made, new products you have to offer, or even the maintenance schedule.
In this case, you don’t have to say anything blatantly commercial. Instead, you can simply point out that your site has been updated and mention that followers should check it out and let you know what they think.
