Pimp Up Your Profile! At Twitter…

5 minutes ago I uploaded a custom background to my Twitter profile.
I’m using it now to add a blog news sidebar to my Twitter page.
You can do the same with your own Twitter profile. Login and use the menu to go to:
Settings - Design - Scroll down to ‘Change background image‘.
There you can upload any image from your computer as new background.

I’ve tried a number of different backgrounds, and it definitely interesting the difference this can make on your conversion rate from following to followers!
Also, the picture that you select can make a significant difference!
