Easy Email Formatting For Your Autoresponder
My free email formatting tool helps you to prepare your email formatting for your auto responder. Just copy and paste your email text and you get it back nicely formatted to paste into the text email and html email field of your AR.
Usually you need any email in 2 formats: Text email & HTML email.
Here’s what the email formatter does for you:
- It outputs 1 formatted text for your text email.
- It outputs 1 formatted text for your html email.
- It breaks down long lines of text into shorter ones. Studies have shown that formatting emails to short lines makes it easier to read. The easier to read your email looks, the more people will actually read it.
- IMPORTANT: It makes your email Microsoft Outlook safe. Outlook has the bad habit of destroying your email formatting by removing the line breaks. Adding extra spaces to the end of each line prevents Outlook from removing the line breaks.
- I wraps your -now shortened- text lines into html tags. You can use this html-formatted version of your email and paste it into the html-email field of your auto responder.
The email formatting tool is brand new. Please help me to make it better and leave your comments and suggestions about our email formatting tool here.

Thank you, the email formatting tool works nicely. It cuts off the hassle of adjusting emails so as to make it correspond to the requirements of an auto responder, and it formats the email into HTML and non-HTML output as well. It’s a real time saver and a good tool you’ll be using once, twice, thrice, and then again and again and again.

When I paste my text to the ‘Original Text’ box it adds many useless spaces to the first line.

Thank you for pointing that out.
I’m sure in the previous version we did not have that problem. ![]()
We’ll fix it soon.

Ok, we have just fixed the issue mentioned 2 comments above.
Now the input box will actually only contain what you paste into it.
Like it should!

This small script is really a time saver. The URL to HTML hyper link is really good.
Rather than manually adding tags on your email messages, this feature handles all the work..
A must have for those who usually delivers emails from time to time… ![]()
Thanks for this cool script.

Hi Andrew,
thanks for checking my formatting tool.
Could you give me some more info about your feature request? Right now every URL in your source text will be turned into an html hyperlink automatically.
How else would you want to add links?
Thanks again,
Ralf

I’m happy to announce that we have already added our first feature update.
Isn’t it a pain to find every hyperlink and convert it to an HTML href tag manually?
The email formatter will now automatically convert your hyperlinks to the correct HTML for the HTML email.
It will recognize your links when they begin with ‘http://’ and it even keeps your affiliate parameters intact!
